The US 11 I found to be oversized and eventually I got rid them due to blistering. I got a new pair of US 10s and I am working on breaking those in. Two main issues with them, the first being their lack half sizes which I find a little bizzarre. Second, the design is strange, its like the toe feels kind of narrow but the back part around the heel cup is like unusually wide. Which causes like this weird feeling of your toes being crunched in while the back of your heel is chafing against the back of the shoe as you walk. I'd say the key here, if you have not worn docs just riterate is to check your sizing and check the fit as these have a different construction then your typical dress shoe or boot. I'm a little hesitant unless you are a veteran doc wearer to reccomend for everyday use. As for the quality; I never wore vintage UK docs so I'm not qualified to access that. I have a heavy frame and a heavy step so I'm sure I will destory these 20% faster than the average Joe. I will post an update at a later time; but for now just know your style and know your size before buying these.
